Hi!

I have an opportunity to trade for a 2003 model.  any advice on these from owners? Good/bad/ugly.

Good:
The amber appears brighter than the red
Extremely forgiving eye relief - can be used all the way out to the front of the receiver
Very fast

Bad:
Small field of view

Ugly:
Due to the low magnification, a fixed front sight can be bothersome (depends on the person)
Recommend a folding front sight if mounting on a flattop receiver
