I have a couple of AR's that need to neutered for Connecticut which is a ban state (no flash hiders). They are both .22's so I see it as being a waste of money to get a Battlecomp etc... Any suggestions for a super cheap compensator/muzzle break that will look good on the rifles? Thanks! |

Yankee Hill makes a good little compensator for around 30 bucks I think. I've got it on my pistol and I remember it was specifically advertised as not being a flash hider. I was just about to post this. I have a YHM flash hider and I am happy with it. I figure if the flash hider is good, the comp/brake must be also. It comes in at 34 bucks, not sure if the OP considers that cheap or not. YHM Comp/Brake |

Amazon sells some muzzle brakes for 22 bucks plus shpping. They are no-name ones but if cheap is your goal then there you go! |

Well,
It's a bit more money... I use These... The "compliance points" are very nice and this thing is supper small.. I run these on most my carbines... Not that your going to breach a door with you .22lr...but with NATO rounds works awesome for that as well... And you also get another weapon...these things seriously put some hurt on the receiving person... I've even used them to shatter windows in cars ... Just for a test... Bret |

Bret Not to hijack the thread but have you tried Rainier Arms XTC also? I am having a hard time deciding whether to get the XTC or the Mini. I really like how mean the mini looks. |

They do CT-compliant stuff all the time and have even developed their own CT-compliant muzzle device. |
