My friend's girl wants to get him an AR for his b-day.  She would like to spend < $800.
I was going to look for a complete rifle at the gunshow.

Probably something along the lines of one with...
-telescoping stock
-m4 type or 11 incher with 5 inch flash hider
-A3 sights

Need some help cause I haven't been around here for a while...but I was wondering what brands I should keep an eye out for?

Well since your in TX check Academy, they have Bushmaster M4's for a good price
