I am trying to determine the length of the barrel remaining from an attached fsb to the threads of an 16 " 5.56 barrel.
                       
                                                                         
Hand guard ends, Front base starts here [Front site base stops here ]––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––|  <Threads stop.

I am looking for the distance marked by ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

any help would be appreciated.
