Also, some will argue it feels 5 times smoother when racking it back and fourth. But i'd buy one primarily for ease of cleaning.

ease of cleaning mainly. And the pretty silver look... In my experience you definitely still need to lube the gun. Maybe not as much, but it still needs quite a bit to run well.
