I've got my AR setup mostly the way I want it now, so thought I'd post a pic for the forum to check out. Always a work in progress...

With even more crap hanging off it...

Some kind of "tactical" bolt release by DPMS, I think. It's not all that slick so I'll prolly remove it eventually...

How do you like that stock? I've been thinking about getting one but I don't know. I've tried the Vltor and the Magpull but keep going back to my 4pos colt and having expensive stuff laying around.

Just what's your feelings toward the thing?

Lure your enemies into a false sense of security.

I've had a metal 4-position CAR stock and a plastic TDI-Arms "tactical" stock on this gun, and I thought both were flimsy crap. I highly recommend the ACE M4 SOCOM you see on it now.

I like it for the most part ( I just don't like the stock).

But that is a good functional rig.

You must really like GG&G!

Great setup!  Where did you get your front & rear sights, as well as pistol grip from?  That's something I'd like to put on my M4gery

The pistol grip is a TDI AG43:

It's a big improvement, BUT I wish it were made of a more "grippy" material and I wish the internal compartment were somewhat water resistant. Oh, and it's "tactical" too. he

I've taken advantage of the fact that GG&G is about five minutes from where I work. Unfortunately, when I called them a few weeks ago about soldering the FH, they refused and told me they're only doing gunsmithing for military now.
