Here is my Retro AR15 I just finished up today , Its on a Superior Arms Lower with a DPMS LPK  and Gunny's Surplus Upper assembly.
The upper is marked CK with Colt proof marks the the front sight has a C cast into the top R/S , Barrel has  C MP Chrome Bore . So .. how do I know about what year it was from?http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk233/manygunsmike/AR15four.jpg

I will be keeping this one on the A2 lower but have 2 others I will be putting on NDS lowers!!   manygunsmike

From the markings you mentioned, the age range could be anywhere from 1972 until the early eighties.

Thank you all ! It has a real good fit with tight pins and no wobble ! I will post pics. of my next builds when I get my NoDak Spud lowers !!

BRD !!! Yes I have it BAD !! Thanks to everyone here at AR15.com!!  I just started into the AR15's in late January and I already have 3 completed and 4 more waiting paintely to be built ! I just hope my wife dont see that I had the GUNS up on her new kitchen table..!!
