Nice project. How is the fit on the Aero Precision upper and lower? I've been looking at them and they have some very tempting deals.
I have an Aero upper that I got from Brownell's, and I was going to lap the face to make it square, but it was already tip-top. I'll be getting their non forward assist uppers from now on for every forged upper I do. I can't stand forward assist. |

The only complaint of AP would be the finish. It seems to be a little more susceptible to blemishing. Obviously they get beat up, but my cousin scratched his up a little during assembly with mild rookie mistakes. I'm overall pretty happy with the AP receivers. It's a great place to save money to spend on more important parts (i.e. barrel and trigger). |
