[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model number – Help

I was looking to order a part for my colt. But online it lists parts for different model numbers. How do I find out what model number I have? As far as I can tell it’s not on the barrel or lower.

For starters, what do the roll marks read on the side of the magwell?

EDIT: Or just call Colt's 800 number on Monday. Give them the serial number & they'll tell you exactly what model number it is, and when it left the factory.
