| This morning, I grabbed my SBR (w/ tax stamp in the case) and the XM607 upper and headed to the range. I swapped out the uppers and set up my B-27 at 50 yards. Off the bags, first shot was about 3" to the right and about 1/2" low. Made a few more shots to see if I was being consistent. I adjusted windage by 3 clicks left and checked it again. I then fired for effect. I would say from this morning's test session that the upper is good to go. Now, I just have to wait on the NDS lower and then the tax stamp. |

Looks good! What barrel lenth did you settle with? And where Are flash hiders available for a 607? Thank You. I ended up with a 10" barrel. The gunsmith opened up the gas port a little bit to compensate for the shorter length. When I tested the upper a couple weeks ago, it ran perfectly. As far as the moderator for the 607, Braceman made the one (3 1/2") I have. Brick makes the ones (4 1/2") for the XM177. |
