Has anyone had the chance to pick up a fluted 16" HBAR from Model 1 Sales?

I'm interested in seeing what the barrel looks like.. and if anyone's had a chance to play with one, are the flutes full length or just ahead of the front sight? Are the flutes deep enough to be useful? Range reports?
