I've shot the most with the N1 by far, but lately I've been running SOPMODs. Both my Block IIs are currently running SOPMODs. But, when it comes to lighter weight and compact size, you can't beat the N1. It fits so nicely between my driver's seat and the console. I've got the N1 on my Block I, and in time, I'm sure I'll eventually put them back on the Block IIs. Plus, I've still got my original N1 that came off a Colt A2 Government Carbine I got in 1995, which was my 2nd AR (and a Pre-Ban, oh my). That started my affinity for the N1. I usually run it on my main Block II, and I must say, I am quite partial to it, lol. If I had to pick one and only one, I'd go N1. |

Only seen 1-2 CQBR, maybe 3-4 X series and 100-150 10/14 series. These were all an attempt to track the uppers and was dropped as impractical to keep track of for maintenance and uppers being swapped around |

I'd say that, or since you have the tan PEQ15, it'd match up with the WMX200 nicely. The refinished NT4 and lower look good! |

I'm amazed that the elastic bit on the filter is still intact. Speaking of dismal light output, have you seen what it looks like with the filter on? I thought that I might be able to set up the peq-15 illuminator to be narrow and the m3x to be wide, but the m3x is so bad that it doesn't even light up my room. I don't see myself using it with the filter ever again, so I'll probably throw a lumens factory led kit in it soon. |
With all the current fixin's. Still haven't gotten the time or worked up the motivation to strip n' paint.  Did someone say Mk27? :D  My version of a Mk27 Mod 2. I took a few liberties, namely going with a G5 over G4 -- for cost/convenience and because I dislike finger grooves. Also, I have to have my custom light triggers, lol. All the same, I'm happy with it. |

All the same, I'm happy with it. I, too, had a Gen 5 "Mock 27 Mod 2", then I sold it and got a 19 Gen 6, hated it, and sold that and got the new, unfired 19 Gen 3 I posted above. Threw on the Glock factory night sights, extended slide release, and maritime spring cups and achieved CLONE status.

You’ll need to contact them to verify what they have on hand and specify what you want, but sometimes you’ll still get the wrong one, though they’ve generally made it right for me. Got my approval finally Still working on parts but need to pay my pic thread taxAttached File Edit I just checked my email and got two more approvals. Mine are marked lmt but the new ones aren’t. Primary Arms has them and Roof Top The ones at Roof Top are full auto though. But reguardless they’re everywhere. |

The problem with running the FA in a Colt lower isn't so much the nib as it is the fact that there are multiple detents. I have found it easy to overrotate the safety being most Colt lowers do not have lever stops. |

A time or two I've half-flicked from safe to semi when really pushing, trying to beat a time on a shot timer. But I can't really blame the safety; I could've done the same with a semi-only safety. Now I've got a 45/90 Arcfire V2 in my main CQBR, so I can half-flick all day, lol. |

Well, I just got notice that my RC is finally shipping back from Surefire. The email says it was 'repaired' but there was no charge, so I'm not sure what the fuck that means. I'm going to be seriously pissed if they kept my can from April 22nd until August 13th and didn't do shit to it. I was expecting a charge, so either I got very lucky and they re-cored it for free for some reason, or they didn't do shit to it. I guess we'll find out next week when it gets here. ETA: Looking around a bit, I guess it's not unheard of for Surefire to do a re-core for free, especially when it involves baffle strikes or not fitting properly to the muzzle device. Mine had both minor baffle strikes, as well as a fairly significant leak between the bearing surfaces and muzzle device. So, I guess it's not impossible that they did the re-core for free. If so, that's fantastic. Nonetheless, I'd feel a lot better if the invoice or email actually detailed what the fuck they did. |

I was expecting a charge, so either I got very lucky and they re-cored it for free for some reason, or they didn't do shit to it. I guess we'll find out next week when it gets here. ETA: Looking around a bit, I guess it's not unheard of for Surefire to do a re-core for free, especially when it involves baffle strikes or not fitting properly to the muzzle device. Mine had both minor baffle strikes, as well as a fairly significant leak between the bearing surfaces and muzzle device. So, I guess it's not impossible that they did the re-core for free. If so, that's fantastic. Nonetheless, I'd feel a lot better if the invoice or email actually detailed what the fuck they did. Let us know how it goes, I have an open RMA but haven’t shipped it yet. |
