medium contour 16" mid length for me.
I don't know that I can fully explain my logic behind it, but it seems to be the most "well rounded" of all the options (SBR, carbine, rifle, etc). With the rail length I have, and the weight of the barrel and stock etc etc and how my whole build comes together - it works best for ME. Thats about the best I can explain it. |

I chose a 14.5" middy with perm attached FSC556. It's the shortest option I can own in my state and my requirements for a "Go To" weapon include using the shortest length rifle possible for potentially moving inside my home. Enough about me: what's YOUR definition of "Go To"?

I don't like midlenghts. 14.7" carbine, 14.5" carbine or 16" carbine. All M4 profiles.
