[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Matching CAGE Codes

When purchasing "new" magazines from distributors, should the CAGE codes match between the mag body and the floorplate?

AFAIK mags are sold to .mil as a unit

I have never seen a cage code on a floor plate, but I wouldn't care or worry about it.

I think the 10 D&H mags I got a week ago have the cage number on the baseplate.

Pretty sure none of my other ones do, though.
