If there are 9 notches on either side of your buffer tube, you have the M93A, if you have less than 9 on each side it is an older M93. Magpul stocks use standard carbine buffer springs and buffers.

OK, I found the buffer and buffer spring on the RRA website. They call the buffer spring the "action spring". I assume this is the same thing ,correct? Finally, they have two choices for the buffer - "CAR" or "CAR Heavy" - which do I select?

Go with the CAR Heavy- Heavy buffer, which is better than a standard buffer.
