First time to notice this

I take a Loaded mag insert in magwell
Pull Back Charge handle
Then Lock it Back
Take out Mag

The Bullet sometimes is crooked? Almost ready to pop out of the LIPS

Happens with my NEW D&H 20 curve mags and my Colt 20 rounders & USGI 30`s
My thermolds seem okay

Happens with Both my LMT M4`s

I have used these mags with No trouble !

Both M4`s have Fired over 1000rds without a single jam period

Dragging the carrier back does something?

I have observed the same.

I never really worried about it since I never had a failure to feed because of it. Have you had a failure to feed?

I assumed that this occurs due to the bottom edge of the BGC pushing downward on the top round, exerting presure at the case rim during the draw stroke without equal pressure applied at the shoulder (and with the straightness of the magazine in the magazine well not allowing the rounds to sit head to head/shoulder to shoulder) the shoulder pops free of the feed lips, but the head is retained by the next case and the feed lips.

Just my theory though.
