The History channel is running Modern Marvels specials tonight on the M-16 at 8:00 PM EDT and another on bullets at 10:00. Thought there might be some interest.

Hell yea.Histiry channell rock,s.They had the history of the winchester -henry rilfe on today,very interesting stuff.

I'm watching the one now dealing with the M-16. I have seen it several times before but it's always interesting to see again. It's a shame that McNamara's "whiz kids" ever had the chance to rape what was otherwise a great rifle. But thankfully with time the wrongs were made right again.

In the bullets program did anyone catch a guy say "45 milimeter" when talking about the multibarreled pistol? Maybe I'm just nit-pickin but thats a pretty serious screwup.
