 My MRF is a half inch longer than my barrel that has a KX3 (hasn't arrived yet) Didn't think about it, will the KX3 fit inside the MRF????????

crap.......  called Troy....... have to take off a bit of material from the inside of the rail.  1.43" or so inside diameter.  Common procedure for them they said.  Time to break out the dremel again

there's a pic in one of these threads where someone has a kx3 poking out of a DD m4 rail.

per noveske's web site the kx3 has a dia of 1.35"

m4 rail is 1.45"

don't know the id of the troy,but looks to have plenty of material you could grind away.
