I had a chance realization the other day that a Midwest Industries forearm rail might fit my RPB steel barrel launcher.

Turns out, the radius of the inside of the rail was PERFECT!

The top half of a MI rail goes beyond 180 degrees and actually grips the barrel. A little dremeling and adhesive and done.

Check it out!

I CAN FINALLY USE A BIPOD!!

Which is really helpful, as the rifle gets pretty heavy with this on.

This is AR related... where else are you going to mount one, an AK?

You should put a stock on it and use it like an M79.

You have too much time on your hands.

Q:  Does the bipod move foreword when you open the launcher?

Yes, the whole barrel moves to open the chamber.

And yes, I do have too much time on my hands.
Maybe I should get stressed out and work harder to get rid of this pesky idle time.
