I've been wondering recently... Many people here have opted for a 14.5" barrel, but have had to resort to using flash suppressors such as the Phantom or the ones from KKF that are 2" long.

Why don't they make 15" M4 barrels, and have the std. A2 flash suppressor perminantly attached? It would most likely look much better, and would have ballistics very close to that on the 14.5".

Just curious.

It makes more sence to me, but none of this still makes as much sense as just getting a 16 inch barrel where you can actually use your threads or even getting a midlength if you are bound and determined to use a bayonet.
