Spectre Gear #1020 sling...found a bin full today...$20! even came with the front adapter and m4 loop for rear. most likely surplus. might grab a few more for other GWOT builds soon....

awesome find. super happy with it.

Looks like the fancy scrolled logo on both, to me.  And $200!

I’m thinking he means he doesn’t like engraving on the right hand side of the mag well.

Got my rail setup.

Does this look right, or is it supposed to be more forward and flush with the handguard cap.

What barrel/handguard end cap?

My sabre defense and KAC M5 are tighter than that. I'm sure its fine, but looks like you got a rifle length plus .5 inch gas system
I wonder if the gas tube is seating in the BCG at the right location when in battery. Could be slightly undergassed?

Not sure about the handguard cap, it is a triangle rifle one though. The barrel is a stag arms HBAR.

I haven't noticed anything off when shooting it. I don't have many rounds through it, though. I bought it a few years ago, I get a good deal on it, and it has mostly lived in my safe.

How can I test to see if the gas tube is seated correctly?

The hash mark on the opposite side of the ejection port, right at the cam pin bump. See if the gas tube matches the line length wise.

Before you assume the gas system is too long, measure your end cap. It should be about .265" thick.

There is a good amount of leeway for where the rear of the gas tube sits. I wouldn't worry about that.

USMC KAC would be late. I'm not knowledgeable about USMC but did they even use the Matech? Nothing or a carry handle on the handguard would probably be best for "early".

From a bunch of pictures I just looked at, I didn't see a single BUIS w/ an RCO.

Who the hell even used the USMC rears?

It's hilarious to see how many carry handles are mounted under the RAS LOL - guess dudes didn't quite trust the acog yet.

I saw some in training pics.

I think that part of the carry handle being mounted to the RAS was because they were signed for it.

That exactly what it was. It was part of the rifle, and they had to stash it somewhere, so they attached it so they wouldn’t lose it.

Kenzie's optics. $1200, free shipping and no tax.

I am still keeping an eye out, in case I find one in stock or at a better price. They said I can cancel the backorder at any time.
