Quoted: I JUST sent you my barrel on tuesday. Did you get my email (shk_1010 AT yahoo.com)? I haven't heard back from you and am just wondering. Also, when is your new low profile gas block going to be ready? If you haven't worked on my barrel yet, that maybe something I want to buy from you if you haven't already worked on my barrel or if your LP gas isn't ready yet.
Also, how in the WORLD are you going to get that low profile gas block for lightweight barrels OVER that bushing you guys leave on lightweight barrels to attach a FH on????

I got your email, but did not email you back because your instructions were clear enough that I had no questions.
I finished up machine work on your barrel last night so it''s ready to be sent off to my parkerizing guy.
It was the mid-length Armalite HBAR right?
Profiling under the handguards saved 13 ounces.
Shortening it to 14.5" saved another 2.5 ounces so it's just about 1lb lighter now.
This what you wanted right?
On lightweight barrels setup with a 0.750" gas block, the step-up can be left at the muzzle for better support of a muzzle device.
On lightweight barrels setup with a 0.625" gas block, this step-up is a threaded-on bushing.
In that case, you just un-thread the bushing, slide on the gas block and then thread the bushing back into place.
I'm about a month away from getting the first batch of 0.625" low profile gas blocks in.
