Was wondering what sort of effects they have on the projectile?  Seeing as all the gases will follow it out the front of the barrel, do they effect the accuracy in any way?  I'm a fairly good shot, so no issues there, but I don't want to turn into a bad shot due to gases disrupting the natural flow of things in the front of the weapon.

Standard M4 Carbine and compensator right now.  But I like the idea of it being quieter for me and my dog especially.  She don't dig it too much.

Any other compensators out there that are known to quiet things down a bit and still do their intended function of reducing recoil and muzzle jump?  And for when SHTF, I don't really want all noise d flash going down range to give away position, so which ones would be good for controlling that?

No rush on getting a new one.  I just see so many models out there, but very little actual reviews comparing them.

Thanks for any help.

Nobody has anything to say on this issue?

It's not that the Linear comps are quieter, it's that they direct the noise down range instead of to the side.
Doesn't do much for muzzle rise but I will say in my experience, the Linears give more of a straight back push instead of a snap for recoil.
Won't do anything for muzzle flash either. If anything, it increases it.
The famed Fireball.

For shorter length and less weight, get a Kies or Troy.

For the most effective, I like the Noveske Pig.
