Does anyone know if a company makes a "universal" light holder? The only thing I've been able to find was this one: http://www.rangerjoes.com/tactical-light-holder-for-surefire-p-1600.html  This one is nice, but I would like to have one that is somewhat adjustable for different flashlight diameters. Thanks in advance.

Exactly how much adjustability are you after?  There is one possibility that has a fairly wide adjustment but it's rather bulky IMO.

I'm looking for a mount that will accept a light(s) with a diameter of .98 to 1.1 in. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.

I'd try a 1" scope ring. If you have to, you can use something to shim it, like wrap the light with electrical tape.

The TDI-BK2 should fit your needs if it'll open far enough for you.  The the other mount I was referring to was the TRG mount from TRGear.com,  it will accomodate various sizes but the size & format of the mount can cause other problems.

Heck yeah it's bulky! That thing is hideous. I'm glad I went with the other one.
