Is there a source explaining the process for building an M16 with a large hole upper? Is there a converter pin that can be used with the small hole receivers? I am looking for info on where to obtain the best receiver/pin for the build. All input is greatly appreciated!! -Rockasons |

Yes.
It is more common to see people taking large hole Colt lowers and running small hole uppers on them using this: www.bushmaster.com/shopping/lowers/we-003.asp However - you can convert a large hole upper on a small hole lower using this: www.bushmaster.com/shopping/lowers/we-003.asp You can thank Colt for this (and many other) wonderful bastardizations of the AR15.... because they didnt want you to be able to use milsurp standardized parts.......
