I have the chance to pick up a NIB LE 6920.  It has law enforcement only stamped on the lower.  what is the going rate for these?  I would appreciate any input on this.  I will be picking it up tomorrow if the price is fair.

Or less.

Matter of fact, $1200 seems to be about as high as they're selling for now. Everyone says they get them for $1050, $1100, and $1150. Shop around and you'll be able to snatch one for less than $1200, no problem.

I guess they have dropped even more. The last gunshow I went to most of them were going for $1800 with the cheapest around $1300 but we all know how gunshows can be.

Thanks for the good info.  I am looking to trade a post ban AR w the fake flash hider on a DPMS lower.  He wants around 550.00 boot.  I would love to unload the old AR cause I am going to spend money on the FFH if I keep it.

The lowest price on them at the last gun show I went to (two weeks ago) was $1500.00. I took $1300.00 with me thinking that would be more than I needed. So I guess I will have to wait for the next show or drive to buy. I offerd two of them the 1300.00 but no takers and they had plenty of 6920's on the table.

Jump on that deal like a pig on stink. That AR you have isn't even worth $500. You would be getting a 6920 for like a grand.

$1,100.00 is a pretty good deal if you're able to buy one in person.

I was going to recommend he try Kneseks but couldn't remember the correct spelling. Many guys have bought from this site from him and been satisfied. However that still doesn't beat $550 and a postban franken gun for a 6920.

Well, I'm just going on what guys have said that they have bought them for online.

Anything with Colt on it around here at the gunshows is always up around $1500 (I even saw some MT carbine for $1800 a couple months ago.

That trade you were talking about is a great deal, though. I'd definitely jump on that. Hell, I'd almost be willing to trade off one of my AR's for a 6920 at that price......almost

Well, I picked it up today.  Nice rifle.  I have to say that the fit between the upper and lower isn't as good as the frankenAR I traded.  I know this wont affect accuracy or anything else but just an observation.   I am happy with my trade!
