I have recently built several rifles/ carbines with slim, keymod, freefloat handguards.  I'm looking for good grip panels to use on them for better purchase and to guard from heat.  I've tried the BCM little dinky ones, and I'm not impressed.  I need something more substantial.

Suggestions?

TIA

These are affordable on Midway and look much wider than the BCMs.  If these don't work for you, you may want to consider using keymod picatinny rails and then covering them with traditional wide rail covers.

These look nice but they are expensive!

Look at the ones from Midwest Industries.

Keymod accessories

I used some of these on my carbine length Keymod handguard.

VZ Grips offer tons of different colors and textures, so you can get the look and grip you want. They are made out of G10 which is tough as nails but won't retain any of the heat.

I like my BCM. But also have strike industries v2 on a rifle and they are very nice, Another rifle sports ergo covers and they are very nice as well. The Ergo are more a rubber feel with good grip, the Strike Industries are a polymer with good grip.

Sure but no rail covers are with $100+

I'm using the KAC covers but the Midwest industries look pretty good too.

I really like the midwest industries panels.  They also have a kit with a small handstop on the end of one panel
