In proper tradition, my rifles are each named. That is their names on the stock. See my sig line. (It also makes it easier in case of an emergency and I have to tell my wife to run get one of my rifles for me, for her to get the right one.)

Hawkeye:
Is your Dissy an HBAR? I had KKF lighten mine up. I had him give the barrel an M4 profile, which made the rifle A LOT better for ME.
Just curious as to how the rifle feels to you with the SIR on it. I'm planning on putting a SIR on mine also in the the near future, so I thought I'd get some input from you. Thanks.

Ha ha! I just now recognized the names in your Sig Line!
So my brother in geekdom, If I show up at the range with "Balrog" written in BowFlage on my PRI handguard, you'll be the only guy not laughing at me? In all seriousness, I really dig both the rifles and the names.. seeing them makes me want to ask "Conan, what is the riddle of steel?" [%(]

Thanks for the pics of that Dissy. I've been sitting here trying to draw a mental picture of a full-length SIR with the modstock.
Now I just need the ~$500 + shipping...

Mine is a full heavy barrel. I dont care for the lighter barrels personally. With the SIR on it, this rifle is awesome. It has become my favorite now. Handles great. I cant say enough good things about it.

I thought Hawkeye and myself had the same tastes when I first saw his Dissy setup, which is almost identical to mine.
Now I KNOW it's true, the two Springfield M1911s I own are the same models as his! Talk about a coincidence, hehe.
