tapco.com   has milspec alu mags for 9.99... I have about 14 and they are great.   30's and 20's

Too bad they don't offer free shipping.  I just ordered two from DPMS with free shipping, although DPMS was a little more expensive.  But I'm game... I'll order a couple and see what I think.  My preferance is the 20 round USGI dry film finish.

Their website says the dry film version's floorplate reads "Tapco etc...".  Any idea who manufactured these mags for Tapco?  I seem to remember a posting regarding this issue but can't seem to find it.

I rodered some last year when they had them for 9.99 plus free shipping.  I think I emailed them and they said they were D&H made mags, but forget where I got the info.  They just have Tapco and their address stamped on the floorplates.  If I ordered enough mags from just about any manufacturer I could have my name and address stamped on the floorplate too.

The dozen I purchased last year function 100%, and look great.

Thanks for that info Mike.  Maybe that is where I read about DH making them.  I emailed Tapco just now to try and confirm.

Just got an email back and this is what they said:

Thank you for your interest in TAPCO & our products.  Our AR mags are made by both D&H and C Products.  C Products makes the 20 rd dry film lube & stainless mags.  D&H make the majority of the others.  Thanks & have a great day.

Just received the two 20 rd mags from TAPCO.  They fit fine in my rifle and fall free as expected.  Exact same floorplate as C Products.
