Anybody try one of these? I was thinking of one for a lightweight build. It warns against using it in a barrell less than 20" but.....could I get around that by adjusting the gas pressure with an adjustable gas block?

You will be making an already marginally reliable gun (AR pistol) significantly less reliable.

Not the pistol.....it would have a 16" barrell and carbine tube and buffer.

JP says that you need to use their speed hammer and springs, which is fine.....but they also say that you need a 20" barrel.....I'd like to use a 16".
