Finished my first build (well almost)!

Everything you see was either purchased or discovered through ARFCOM.
RRA 20” A4 Upper from ADCO
DD M4 12.0 Rail from Daniel Defense Group Buy
PRI Flip Up Front Sight and ARMS #40 BUIS from Orion Tactical
ARMS #32 Harris Bi-Pod mount and ARMS #38SPR PEQ 2-3 Rail from Eagle Firearms
Mega Lower, Harris Swivel Bipod from WAC (WA Gun Show) that I learned about through the Hometown Forum

Right now using a Simmons AETEC, but waiting for a Leupold or Trijicon Group Buy.

At 100 yards I was shooting quarter and nickel sized three shot groups, but it was cheap ammo and I need more practice.

Thanks guys,

Lumpy, I was having problems with the scope clearing the BUIS so I though why not?

Thanks r4nger, its kind of heavy though.  Good for shooting, not so much for carrying around (I guess that’s what M4s are for ).

F'ing sweet, almost the exact picture of what I want in a DMR type rifle.  Good job!

Thanks drew5337, I am always open to suggestions what would you recommend to modify this rifle even further?  Like I said, “finished… (almost)”
I plan to replace the scope when funds allow, and if the 6.8 SPC settles down then I will re-barrel.  Oh and maybe some Tango Down heat shields, although these work rather well.

Thanks eklikwhoa, it took me a few minutes and some disassembly to get the rail on there, but I am more than pleased with the result.

Rery nice rifle, scope looks very far forward I have never shot a gun like that. Is your nose right up on the charging handle?

Thanks guys, I do enjoy it , just not as much as I would like (after all I have to pay for ammo somehow).

Archer36, yes I do shoot with my nose just behind the charging handle for consistency purposes.  I shoot all of my ARs this way so that I can pickup any of them without having to remember some special head placement.  Having a consistent sight picture should also help reduce some of the inaccuracies when shooting (or so I hope).
