| I have an older Insight M3 Xenon bulb light that I would like to convert to LED by swapping bulbs. Does anyone know if the X-series bulb will fit in the standard M3 as is or without having to change the bezel? |

The X-Series bulb will not fit in your M3 light, it is too long and it will break the lens in your bezel. Insight has come out with drop in LED boards and new bezels for the LED for the conversion. It is going to cost you to convert your M3 but it will give you more light (Lumen's) and longer run time. Give Insight customer service a call and find out what the price is to convert your light to LED. Good luck, Pat |
I have exchanged email with Insight a couple of times. I always get the same answer. Its not available yet and we can't quote a price yet. A week ago I was told they would be out in November. Before that it was October. I'll keep waiting.....just like with Magpul.

I have a couple of Insight M2 UTLs (M3 with HK rail) that I would like to upgrade to LED. Even if this upgrade is foolishly expensive it will probably still be cheaper than buying adapter rails for the HKs, new weaponlights, and new holsters

Spoke with Insight customer service today and was told that they have a retro kit in the works that will include an LED bulb and new bezel for the M3. They said these kits will start shipping in mid October to their distributors that have already placed orders and that the price will be $64.95. Hopefully they're not using the same calender that Magpul is...
