OK, with the big 0-2 aperture zeroed to the 50yd zero of the IBZ, what is the small aperture w/horizon line now zeroed to?

It looks like the small aperture is raising point of impact by almost 6" at 100yds... but I spent most of the day playing with a new sight post and there is a good chance I am wrong on that.

The "notch" sight is for ~ 500 to 600 meters when the larger ghost ring sight is zeroed for ~ 250 to 300 yards per ARMs.

A quick check of the Maryland AR15 Shooters Sight tends to indicate with the IBZ the long range sight will be around 500 yards.

Is there a difference in the aiming point between the large and small appearture (a 50 yard first crossing should be close to 300 yard zero / second crossing of the line of sight).

Thanks

Don't the instructions say to zero with the SMALL aperture and -2 clicks ? If you need the large aperture, you're supposed to return back to 8/3 for "patrolling", but the zeroing is supposed to be done with the small aperture.

That's assuming you've got the standard A2 type adjustable rear sight.

As BR indicates he has the ARMS #40 BUIS so there are no 'clicks' down.
