MarCorpSyscom went out and bought allot of optics to effect see which would work best in combat. |

The ones the USMC are using are from NVEC right here in the USA, which licensed them from ITL. They also made some improvements over the original design.

When was the last time you checked? How much does a high quality IR laser run these days? (hint: SF L72 head alone is almost a grand, Aimpoint LPI is over $1200) How about the NV capable reflex sight? (hint: Aimpoint M2 and EOTech 55x are over $350) How about combining the two into a single compact unit? (hint: I can't think of one other than the MARS) Doesn't matter because the price has always been $1065 for the NVEC MARS, and that is obviously not a whole lot of money for this kind of product (same price IR or visible laser). Yes, you do need a purchase order. |

They got them issued to them  most combat arms unit have some tpye of sight on there weapons
