I found this deal at my local gunshopi.e. S&M, locally known as Starvin' Marvin's. I bought all they had. I have never found IMI for 13 cents/ round before!

Yes they do. I bumped into it last week at my local gunstore (deandreas) in Milford CT. They wanted 7.99/box. Screw that, but they do/did make it.

No.... they don't.

The term "XM193" is a marketing name used by Federal - for their M193 product for the commercial market.

IMI does sell a "M193" load.... just not "XM193".... unless you have information to the contrary?

I stand corrected! The box says "30 cartidges, 5.56 mm, Ball M 193, Lot 00212/c Surplus, Israeli Military Industries" My question of the day is: S&M has a new Bushmaster Flattop with SS 20" Bull Barrel for $750. Should I buy that, too? I'm wanting a "sniper" 5,56.

Last I checked - Bushmaster doesnt sell "bull" barrels - which are .920 and above beyond the FSB.  They sell a "varmint special" and a "stainless steel rifle" but I believe both of those are HBAR profile.

The only problem I have with Bushy stainless barrels, is they are 1:9 twist - they cannot typically stabilize the heaviest projectiles, such as the 77SMK.

But $750 for any new Bushmaster rifle sounds like a pretty good deal.

Great price. Last round of IMI I purchased(mail order, bulk group buy) worked out to 180(delivered) for 1200 rounds. Thats .15 a round, but having to purchase 12000 rounds to get that price. I'd be happy if I were you. Good job. -Justin
