Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How to tell if Jewell Trigger installed ?

I bought a used lower that would have been used for target shooting. It may already have a Jewell trigger installed but I've nothing for comparison, nor do I have a trigger pull gauge or easy access to another AR.

Is there some tell-tale way of easily seeing if its an original mil-spec trigger or an after market trigger like Jewell ?

The Jewell trigger is nothing like any other trigger.

Go here www.highpowerrifle.com to see what one looks like for comparison. The trigger pictured at the top left corner is a Jewell.
