How much muzzle flash can you reasonably expect from a 20 or 24 inch bull barrel??
I have never actually shot one of these AR's before.

it's not bad at all. nothing like a 10.5 or less.

What muzzle device are you planing on having on it?
With a vortex I would say not much at all.
The long barrel helps but the end device will be the total factor.
I see no reason ever for a 24in barrel on an AR.

...
I was considering NOTHING on the muzzle, just the "target crown" of a bull barrel varmint rifle.

I have a 24" bull barrel, and there's hardly any flash at all.

20" with M193=football (no muzzle unit).

It depends on ammunition used or powder used if you are a hand loader. With the correct ammo or power you will see almost none, especially with a 24.

Could you give any suggestions for a non-flash 75-77grain load??
