This is my project A3, 20 incher.
Everyone seems to do the M4geries, so I wanted to be a little different, It is only in the begining stages. Any ideas?

LOOKS AWESOME SO FAR!!!!
If you have the money, an ACOG would look very nice...Avoid big honkin' scopes, as it seems everyone is doing that now as well...
Many congrats [beer]

Many folks like the stocks black... rub it down with Breakfree and it'll darken up, if you are so inclined.

Maybe a sling might be nice.

Looks like a good start.

looks good so far. Is that a Bushmaster handguard?

A nice ACOG or aimpoint would look nice.  Or if you have any plans for a designated marksman type rifle a Harris bipod would work out.

Looks good.  A TA31 and an ARMS #40 would be the icing on the cake.  And maybe a Surefire for when it's dark out [:)].

Nice! Sometimes I’ve wished I had gotten the flattop but it holds zero on the handle and the Trijicons don't vibrate loose so I am pleased. Maybe a Surefire?? anyone??

Not my tip about the stock, I got that one from another poster here.  But I liked my results.  Probably should try on a small section underneath or something to be sure you like it.  Actually, I guess a new stock is around $20, so who cares?

Thanks Everyone!!!

The Free floater is a Yankee Hill, and the rear sight is a DPMS detachable A2.

I found a deal on a Aimpoint today at a gunshow, I think I am going to go pick that up tomorrow.

I like the gray look of that stock, it really looks different compaired to my Armalite M15A2,  I do have a Eagle Sling for it, Just it is not on in the pic.

It's coming along nice.An ACOG would be perfect. Bsbg's setup is sweet, but I think I'd pass on the Harris bipod. Check out the Mark Brown custom.
