Two ways:
Get a peel washer and remove layers until FH indexed correctly.
Or get a crush washer and tighten down until FH is indexed right.
I'd recommend the crush washer.  It's a lot less hastle and about the same cost.  With the peel washer, it's trial and error.

IT came with the peel and your right it is a pain, I will need to get a crush washer,

I had to really torque mine down tight with a crush washer. Just a little warning.

It all depends on the indexing of the threads.
