I'll preface this by saying I'm not mechanically inclined, nor does my brain understand the concept of "hand-eye coordination." So, how do I install an ejection port cover? As far as I can tell it is physically impossible to get the rod into the two little holes because the forward assist is in the way. What am I missing? |
In other words, it's a bitch, but it can be done. One tip. Put a piece of electrical tape on the underside of the hump, so the rod doesn't scratch it up when you're working it in from under the hump. |
Doesn't sound like it was a "complete" rifle to me.

My Beowulf® has no ejection port cover - did you forget to put it on? No, we didn't forget it. The Beowulf was designed to not have an ejection port cover. Clearly the port is much larger than a typical AR-15, so no, you cannot retrofit one. Trust us, you don't need it. The catch is, they were wrong and you CAN retrofit a cover to fit the larger port. Steve at www.50beowulf.com sells them so I picked one up. I just can't figure out how everyone else installs theirs |
