Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How To Adjust Fixed Post-Ban CAR Stock Length?

A little while ago, someone posted a comment on how to adjust the length of a post-ban CAR stock.  I believe it required some disassembly of the stock.  Does anyone recall this?   Just wondering how to go about doing this.

On my Bushmaster one, there is no way to, as it uses a full length buffer tube. Not sure about the other brands though.

That's the first thing I did when I got my new DPMS home.  I drilled out the two pins holding the three position stock open.  Then, I simply broke loose the small amount of glue they had assisting the pins.  Voala!  Three position stock right out of the box!
