*Sabre Defence 16" ss, bead blasted, fluted barrel 1/8 twist
*A2 Flash hider
*Troy Industries 10" Free floated quad rails
*Mega -gator Lower receiver
*Stag LPK
*Magpul MIAD full grip kit
*RRA bolt group
*CAA CBS 6 pos stock (don't like it much though...wiggly..)
*oh yea and since it's KALIFORNIA...I have C Products 10/30 round mag...yes it looks like a 30 but only holds 10 rounds...(easily modified to accept 30 though hahah).
*also damn Bullet Button mag release...I hate Kalifornia

Any suggestions? Optics? BUIS? Thanks...hope to build more in the future!

Nice job. Looks great. I'd recommend YHM's flip-up rear sight but I'm not sure if they make a front sight that will mount to the handguard and still be the correct height to work with the rear sight. I also like the Eotech HWS. It doesn't sit as high on the upper receiver and seems like a more compact package than the other designs.

I just finished my first built too and I also live in Commifornia. You're build looks great. Keep it up.

As far as optics and what not... buy what you like and what you can afford.

YHM makes both rear and front sights that fold. I would recommend both.

I found some Smith and Wesson M&P 15 BUIS...actually manufactured by Troy Industries for like $80.  So thanks for the advice on the YHM, but I think I'm going to get those troy buis...just a good deal.
