| There are so many different ones. TLR1, TLR-2,TLR-3, TLR-4, HL etc. too many for a noob. I am SS on thier quality for the $ bit unsure which one to buy for my LE6920. The light will mainly be for home defense. Don't plan on too much night shooting at the range or long range night shooting. This AR noob needs some advice and opinions. Thanks! |

I would stick with the standard TLR-1, or the TLR-1s if you want the strobe feature. The strobe can be disabled if you decided you don't want / need it. The HL is nice but probably too bright for much indoor use. Agreed. I would stock with the good ol' TLR-1 if you are going the Streamlight route. I have one the TLR-1s(strobe model) I use mainly on a handgun but occasionally put it on my rifle. It's an older model which isn't as bright as the new versions but still is plenty bright for indoor distances. I'm seriously looking at getting an Inforce WML-HSP with Thorntail offset mount for dedicated rifle use. Price for the package is $159. Light by itself is $119. http://haleystrategic.com/wml/ |
