Hey all,
I bought a complete upper with a Lancer Systems mid length hand guard. I want to change out the upper. I have removed the gas system, the barrel nut, but I'm stuck with the last piece near the receiver. I heated it up, can't get it to move. Does it need to unthread? Do I need to remove the barrel first? (Cant seem to figure out how to get that out at the moment.) I'm totally lost. Here's a pic: 
Is there a trick I'm missing here? There is no set screw in the top to hold it in.... I know you're all experts here, someone care to help?? Thanks!!!!! |
Red loctite is used to thread and attach and make sure that piece is lined stays that way to the upper. .. it should only have 4 drops, not smothered.
lancer  ...yes, I put one of these together as well, but I followed instructions.
