So yesterday I'm in my car driving around they played this audio clip of a 911 call and I laughed so hard I almost wrecked my car. Follow the link and at the top you can listen to the call..

I don't want to spoil it with my opinion on this but would like to hear what others think.

You don't call 911 with stupid crap like that, and I'd have probably said the same thing if I were the operator. Geez.

God love those 911 calltakers. I could not do it. I would have told that lady to raise her own damn kids. A CHILD that age is not even old enough to be prosecuted in this state. One incident in a Kroger and the whole state is in fear of discipling their child. The OCGA specificly says that you can use corporal punishment on your child. The problem is people take it too far and break bones and leave permanent marks.

She calls 911 wanting the police to raise her kids and the second force is used on the unruly CHILD a complaint is filed on the officer.

I think the call taker was wrong in saying that to her....however, it was deserved.

i'd say the cops got better shit to do. that lady should have gotten aneighbor to help or just let the kids tire out. Anyway, if she had been parenting with any kind of discipline this wouldn't have happened. i guess it was unproffesional but it was still funny as hell.

This is probably the same type of winch that would sue her local school if they paddled her kids for fighting at school.

She'd probably call 911 if her toilet backed up.

Is this the one where her daughters are fighting and the operator ask's if they want them shot?

Funny.

Seriously though, I'd just give a verbal repremand. He apologized immediately, called his supervisor, and he just made a mistake. Stress happens.

That's the problem with our country. People like her can't control their own kids. Get real, if they were raised right from the start they wouldn't have been acting like that in the first place.

People these days...

My dad always had good punishments.  Of course there was always the dreaded belt if it was warranted, like when i threw a glass at my mother (i was 9 i think) or for dumb stuff I wouldn't be allowed to sit all day.

If my dad caught me and my brother fighting; it better be over something important, otherwise we'd both get a good whipping.

That lady needs to learn to discipline her daughters instead of bothering the 911 dispatcher with crap like that.

Oh, and.

That woman pisses me off.   Guy says the units are on an emergency call and that they'll get there as soon as they can, and she says "Well don't rush or anything"

The dispacter was being a smartass -- the woman was just being a plain old bitch.  No wonder her kids are barbarians, they probably get it from her.  I mean, for crying out loud, she can't control a 12 year old girl?  She probably didn't try just bitch-slapping her little punk ass.

As an adult you're responsible for your children.  If they're rioting in your house, it's YOUR job to put a boot in their ass.

I didn't find this call funny at all. Matter of fact, it pissed me off. What the 911 guy should have said IMO was, "We'll send someone right over to bitch slap you for being a sorry excuse for a mother and an all around ignorant bitch!"

This is yet another example of how pathetic our society has become. I can't believe that guy had to apologize for that much less get written up for it. What should have happened is, she should have been fined for calling 911 with a non-emergency! Dumb asses like her do this shit all the time and spread out our already thin resources (911 operators, police, fire and emt personal) on stupid shit like that and then when there is a real emergency, no one is available.

lol funny call but that woman was irritating. Trying to ruin someone else's life by trying to get him fired just because she does not even have control of her two children is disgusting.

Its funny/sad/pathetic she was more upset over his comment than she was her own children.

This is typical of how so many people today won't take responsibility for there own problems... she can't deal with her kids so she has to go to the government for help... then when the dispatcher points out that she is a failure as a parent, she takes it out on him.  All of the sudden it is all about what the dispatch did and not about she called about in the first place.  She can't take a little bit of criticism and admit that she is a poor parent.

"I'm going to make a formal complaint!"

"Kiss my ass lady and get in line."

After his smartazz remark you notice she didn't give a crap about those kids any more.
So, it must have been real damn important that she call 9-11.

What a bunch of bullshit, although I did laugh my ass off.  If that woman can't or won't bitchslap those kids, she needs to find someone that will.  If the police were allowed to beat the piss out of the mom and two kids, then and only then should 911 have been called.

That was funny.

If I acted like that as a kid my dad took the belt to me.  Once he hit me with the buckle on accident (yes on accident) and I had a mirror image of USMC on my ass for a week.  I guess that is why I joined......

What an asshat!!!  You don't offer for the police to come over to shoot the stupid kids in a situation like that!!!
You just drive over there and do it yourself...

Let's get back to the original reason for the call.  This woman has no control over her kids and instead of working to reestablish her role as parent, she calls 911!?!?  What a loser.

The dispatcher was out of line, but come on!  "Hello 911?  My toilet is running over."  "This is an emergency!  The oven is burning my dinner!  Help!"  911 is for emergencies.  This woman's issue with her daughters is about 12 years in the making, and thus NOT an emergency!

Ok here's the fix.  "BAD 911 operator!  No coffee breaks for a week!  And come up with something you can say that won't piss off the caller, even if they are as braindead as this woman!  Now get back to work!"
