Quoted: On the barrel thread protector for flash hiders etc. I cold feel where the barrel and cap meet on half of the cap, could have been matched a bit better but rest of work was great.

Varminator-
I really did not like how that thread protector fitted either, but I was in a predicament.
Because your barrel was fluted by Krieger, they also had to do the profiling where the flutes would be.
When I made the thread protector, I use the piece of the blank that I cut off the muzzle.
they were the same diameter, but the lathe chuck did not hold it perfectly centered.
That's why they don't align perfectly.
If I would have made a new thread protector, it would not have been from the same krieger steel and the colors would not have matched perfectly.
Different stainless steels from different batches tend to have slightly different shades.
Don't really know if it would have mattered after blasting though
Usually, when I do thread protectors, I start with the barrel and thread protector oversized and I turn them both in an assembled state.
Then there is absolutely no seam.
Your barrel was a special case...
As for anyone else looking for feedback, I don't really have feedback listed on AR15.com, or maybe I do and I just don't know where to find it.
I do have a feedback forum on my own website with customer comments and email links so you can ask them for references if the comments are not enough.
I think my feedback forum is far better than a simple +1 given here on AR15.com
