Anyone had a plastic two piece hand guard (four rail picatinny) come loose?  I put a vertical grip on mine and when you manipulate the grip, there is separation between the two pieces of the handguard.  I was thinking an aluminum one wouldn't do this, but the cost is much more than the composite.  Any thoughts?

Are you using the CAA M44 handguards?

Welcome!

You have to give us more info about what HG you are using...

That being said, that is a possible downside to putting any VG on a plastic HG. Some members also "complain" of flexing on high end brands such as ARMS which also has a plastic lower half.

NOT bashing ARMS in any way. I have ARMS and love it.I have not noticed any flexing on mine ... then again, I do not use it for military or law enforcement application.

I think he screwed one of those rail pieces on the bottom of the HG.

Do yourself a favor, and save your $$ for an aluminum railed HG

A Troy MRF-C from Denny's is the way to go.

Good Luck

This is not intended to sound mean but, there is a reason the aluminum handguards are more expensive.  Save up and get some you like.

Or if your really on a budget, you could get the UTG rails from cheaperthandirt.com they're like $50.00, but later on I'd get the Troy or Midwest Industries rail systems.
