I'm so confused, and torn, AR shopping,

OBR 16 INCH OR BCM Reece Mod 0 16 INCH

OBR
1995
Sub MOA Guarantee
 4.5 lb trigger
NON Chrome lined bore

VS.

BCM
1219
Chrome Lined bore
1:7 twist
No accuracy guarantee

I need some serious help, feedback, i cannot buy both, just one, I know both are great, but I need more feedback than just that. Anyone have any input. Thanks.

Sorry for any grammatical issues, at work.

Well, the obvious question is "what do you want to do with the rifle?"

I wouldn't hesitate to take the BCM and put the money you save towards ammo and training.

If accuracy is a top priority, then go with the OBR.  Otherwise they are both excellent.

Bit of a difference between the two. What do you want out of it?

This thread needs a poll.

I'd go with the OBR if cost is not an issue.

Since you are looking for a REECEish rifle I would go with the OBR.

you don't need a chrome lined bore with a Stainless barrel.

Totally different animals. What do you expect from it? What do you plan on doing with it?

You DO realize that the OBR has a stainless barrel, right? Stainless doesn't get chrome lined.

Like several people said, it depends on how much that little bit of accuracy is worth to you.  Personally, I'd go with the OBR.
However the BCM, I'm sure, is a pretty accurate rifle itself and you could have some money left over for extras....ammo, optics, whatever.
Just gonna have to be a personal preference.

This carbine is for serious tactical courses, a gtg, and needs to be hella reliable. Lots of rounds, going to be ran with a T-1 & mag, and a Leupy for longer range targets.

Well then I don't think either is the ideal choice. just my $0.02

ETA:
If you must have a FF handguard:

If you must have it asap:

Obviously add a BCM or lower of your choice to either option.

No need to even remotely worry about chrome-lining on a LaRue barrel. The stainless steel it's made out of is extremely durable. Mark put up a post about a guy that finally just started getting minor keyholing from one of his Stealth uppers after 60,000+ rounds! 60,000! And it kept its accuracy through the entire 60,000. Those same barrels are used in the OBR.

chip, peel, corrode, and is heat-resistant to over 1200 degrees
Fahrenheit.
LaRue Stealth Barrels are Wylde-chambered in
5.56mm, 1-in-8 twist polygonal rifling in medium-weight contour using
LW-50 Stainless. In the late 1980's, it was realized that there were
erosion and short barrel-life problems with 416 Stainless in the
calibers operating at 65K psi. 410 Stainless also had issues. LW-50
became the answer. LW-50 lacks sulphur, which in high quantity, created
short throat-life in other Stainless Steels. LW-50 can also be
heat-treated to a point that makes it near-optimal in all forms of
rifle barrels. LW-50 has been proven for over 15 years, in military and
civilian uses ranging from sniper, tactical, target, and other
high-performance applications where long life and accuracy are critical
.

I would never hesitate to get a LaRue upper or entire rifle if you can afford it. Only reason I don't have one of them is that they're expensive and I spend too much money on accessories for my other rifles.

Comparing apples and oranges.  A more even comparison would be between the Larue OBR and a BCM built around an SS410 barrel.  I didn't get a guarantee, but mine is a sub MOA shooter for five shot groups.
