Never heard of it before.  It's an 8oz buffer that has an extended length, apparently attacking two "problems" at once.

The following is unsolicited advice, but for anyone building a 9mm AR, I think it's important to at least consider these points.

First off, heavy buffers aren't necessarily needed in a 9mm AR.  I personally think it's important to see how the gun runs with a standard part before you invest in a fancy part.  Not that this buffer is particularly expensive, but the extra weight may not be needed.

Second, spacers or extra-long buffers address a potential problem that not everyone ever experiences.  The only time a spacer is indicated is when you have bolt overtravel backward enough that the bolt smacks the end of the receiver extension and/or the bolt slams forward too violently - which can lead to broken bolt catches.  Again, adding a spacer is not something I recommend doing until and unless it's needed.

My SBR lower runs my 10" AND 16" 9mm upper just fine with a stock carbine buffer and no spacer, shooting everything from "NATO" grade 124 gr loads to Winchester White Box 115 gr FMJs without a hitch.

There are TWO situations where I'd recommend trying a heavier buffer to start with: running a suppressor, and running a select fire lower.  A blowback gun with a suppressor WILL need extra mass to keep closed until chamber pressure drops off enough.  A select fire lower (an expensive and relatively rare commodity) may be fine with a standard carbine buffer, but I personally would work down in buffer weight until you got the gun running smoothly, to protect the FCG pin holes.

I'll shut up now.  I hope to see some posts from people who've tried this buffer, and how it's performed for them.
