The Guat ammo was manufactured in '93, lot 6. It is very tarnished but has no corrosion. Packed in black battlepack.

The XM193PD came loose packed.

Temperature was ~70 degrees.

The testing weapon is a FrankenAR with a 16" barrel and a SRT Hurrincane Suppressor:

The Chronograph is a Chrony Beta. Measurements were taken about 10 feet from the chronograph witht the distance from the chronograph kept consistent.

The results:

Guatemalan
shot 1 2959
shot 2 2988
shot 3 3014
shot 4 3044
shot 5 2959
shot 6 2978
shot 7 2978
shot 8 3023
shot 9 2868
shot 10 3013

Average velocity 2993, standard deviation 29.34, extreme spread 84.87.

XM 193PD
shot 1 2939
shot 2 2899
shot 3 2915
shot 4 2894
shot 5 2922
shot 6 2883
shot 7 2917
shot 8 2883
shot 9 2970
shot 10 2849

Average velocity 2907, standard deviation 33.54, extreme spread 120.9.

Shots were fired at the rate of 1 shot every 10 seconds with 2 minutes in between the 2 tests.

I failed to observe the distance of ejected brass, however I did note that the spent primers on both test catagories exhibited standard (non-flattened) primers.

There was no noticeable difference in the recoil of the 2 test groups. Muzzle flash and noise was not obsereved because of the suppressor.

No malfunctions of any kind were noted.

I thought about not posting this info as I feel it demonstrates the quality of the Guat ammo, and I'd rather this ammo stay in stock for a while. But I share.

I know the pictures suck. Digital cameras don't put holes in things and they typically don't go bang, so I'm not too interested in getting a new one.

Hell, I'll reply, this is quite a bit faster then 193pd so it is pretty hot ammo. While I shot some back to back I have no chrony, at least you prove what I THOUGHT, which is that it's plenty fast. Thanks!
